The Lancer Group places John Pence as Chief Financial Officer at Beneplace, the market leader in voluntary benefits and employee purchase program management
AUSTIN, TX – The Lancer Group places John Pence as Chief Financial Officer of Beneplace, leading provider of voluntary benefits to Fortune 1000 companies and government institutions. The Company has a blue-chip customer base, including 13 of the Fortune 100 and more than 50 of the Fortune 500.
John brings to Beneplace over 25 years of experience in operations and finance across multiple industries including consulting, software, and manufacturing. In this new role, John will be responsible for formulating and executing financial and operational strategies to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
Most recently, John served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Mobi, leading provider of enterprise location-based solutions and analytics, where he was responsible for establishing strategic company and product goals as well as executing its go to market strategy. Prior to Mobi, John worked in various leadership roles for Freescale Semiconductor, Brinkmann International and Allied Riser Communication. He began his career at Arthur Andersen in their Dallas office.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
