SAN DIEGO, CA – The Lancer Group places Eric Palmer as Chief Financial Officer of Lytx, San Diego-based leading provider of video telematics that help commercial and public sector fleets improve driver behavior and reduce collisions and collision-related expenses. Lytx is backed by Chicago-based private equity firm, GTCR.

Eric bring to Lytx over 20 years of deep and broad experience in financial leadership for technology companies, both in emerging and established stages of development. He most recently served as CFO, Life Sciences for Dassault Systèmes, a $2.9B software development and distribution company where he led the acquisition of NASDAQ-traded Accelrys, which merged with Dassault Life Sciences to become Biovia, a $280M stand-alone business.

Eric initially came into Dassault Systèmes in 2012 via the acquisition of GEMCOM, a company held by private equity firms Carlyle, and JMI Equity. Prior to GEMCOM, Eric held various senior financial leadership roles at Nu Flow Technologies, Subex Azure, Syndesis and MKS with an emphasis on building operational strength and scale. He began his career at KPMG, where he worked in the audit, tax, and management consulting divisions.
