BAY AREA, CA – The Lancer Group places Gregg Spratto as Chief Operating Officer at Cision (NYSE: CISN; LTM Rev: $695M), the leading global provider of media software and services to public relations and marketing communications professionals.
Gregg brings to Cision 20 years of deep operational experience with emphasis in M&A integration, customer service, and business automation. He brings a two- decade track record of thriving in environments that required immediate efficiency, cost, or process improvement.
In this new role, Gregg is responsible for the worldwide operational strategy, management and delivery of day-to-day operations. He leads building a metrics- driven, high performance worldwide organization that will scale with the business.
Most recently, Gregg served as Vice President of Operations of Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK; LTM Rev: $2.1B), multinational design, engineering and entertainment software company, where he was responsible for the strategy and direction of thecompany’s customer-facing functions. He joined Autodesk in 1998 and was rotated into various roles of increasing responsibility. He held leadership positions in materials management, supply chain, purchasing, financial systems reporting, global ERP implementation, new product introductions, M&A integration, enterprise account support, and customer service and contact center operations.
He holds a BS in Journalism and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
