SAN JOSE, CA – The Lancer Group places Hunter Middleton as Global Vice President of Product Management at 8×8 (NYSE: EGHT; LTM Rev: $283M; MKT CAP: $1.7B), the leading provider of global cloud communications and customer engagement solutions. The 8×8 suite of products seamlessly weaves together cloud telephony, messaging, meetings and contact center solutions with a data analytics platform, helping modern organizations communicate at the speed of employee and customer expectations.
Hunter brings to 8×8 over 18 years of deep product management experience driving clarity and focus in product vision and strategy for global software and technology corporations; he brings a track record of building high-performing product teams that work effectively and collaboratively across the engineering, operations, and go-to-market functions. In this newly created role, Hunter is responsible for leading product strategy, product management and user experiencefor 8×8’s integrated cloud communications, collaboration and contact center solutions.
Most recently, Hunter served as Vice President and Head of Product Management of Jive Software, a leading provider of modern communication and collaboration solutions for businesses, where he was responsible for transforming the firm’sEnterprise Collaboration solutions. Prior to Jive Software, Hunter had a 9-year tenure at Google, where he was Head of Product Management for Google Enterprise, and led the Google Apps SMB product team.
He holds a PhD in Physics from Princeton University and a Masters in Management, with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing, from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
