Meltwater Appoints Rupali Jain to Board of Directors

Meltwater, a global leader in media, social, and consumer intelligence, recently announced the appointment of Rupali Jain to its Board of Directors. This strategic addition reflects Meltwater's commitment to enhancing its leadership with seasoned experts in technology and product innovation.

Founded in 2001 in Oslo, Norway, and now headquartered in San Francisco, Meltwater specializes in analyzing vast amounts of data from media outlets, social platforms, and consumer channels. By transforming this data into actionable insights through advanced artificial intelligence, Meltwater empowers businesses worldwide to make informed decisions. In August 2023, Meltwater was acquired by MW Investment B.V., an entity jointly controlled by private equity firms Marlin Equity Partners and Altor, further strengthening its position in the market.

Rupali Jain brings over two decades of experience in product leadership within the SaaS industry. She has held pivotal roles at renowned companies, including serving as Head of Product & Strategy for Power BI at Microsoft and Head of Product for Customer XM & Brand XM at Qualtrics. Currently, she is the Chief Product Officer at Optimizely, where she continues to drive user-centric product innovation.

Her extensive background in product development and strategic leadership will be invaluable to Meltwater as the company continues to enhance its offerings and expand its global footprint.
