CHICAGO, IL – The Lancer Group places Chris Cowger as Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Electronics, a global consumer electronics company providing communications and detection products under the Cobra Electronics, ESCORT, Snooper and Beltronics brands. With locations in North America, Europe and Asia, Cedar Electronics is the industry leader and largest designer and maker of radar detection systems.
Chris brings to Cedar Electronics over 15 years of experience expanding markets, optimizing structural costs and driving product innovation across the tech and manufacturing industries. He brings deep operational experience and a track record of directing sales & marketing, supply chain, product line management, and engineering & manufacturing to deliver breakthrough business performance. In this new role, Chris will be responsible for performance improvement leading to revenue growth in addition to driving new product launches and product offerings tostrengthen the company’s brand equity.
Most recently, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer for ChipCast Technologies, a video software technology start-up, where he established and led the Sales,Marketing & Customer Service Business Practice for the firm’s Communication,Media & High-Tech (CMT) practice.
He holds an MSc in Computer Sciences from the University of London, King’sCollege.
