NEW YORK, NY, 7 March 2022 – The Lancer Group is delighted to announce our recent placement of Greg White as Operating Partner at The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm focused on making control and non-control investments in growing businesses valued up to $400M. Since its founding in 1988, Riverside has invested in more than 420 transactions and its international portfolio includes more than 80 companies.

Greg is an executive with a successful record of delivering business results for private equity backed companies. Previous roles include leading divisions for large health care IT companies, international business experience, turning around underperforming divisions, and growing early-stage companies.

Background

With more than 35 years of experience, White is an accomplished executive who has driven growth and performance across businesses that range from early stage venture-backed companies, to divisions of large healthcare IT companies and international businesses. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside boards and senior executives to consistently execute strategy, and assemble productive and collaborative teams to achieve business objectives – showcasing his leadership and tenacity to drive results.

Career History

Prior to joining The Riverside Company, Greg was CEO of PeraHealth, a clinical data analytics company that predicts patient acuity and deterioration in acute care hospitals. The solution is based on a machine-learning algorithm that provides clinicians early warning alerts during patient care. The business was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Greg was responsible for all aspects of the VC-backed business and oversaw the successful completion of a management buyout in May 2021.

Greg graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Finance and completed his Executive Program at Stanford University. He worked at ExecuTrain, Gajema Software, Cerner Corporation, Allscripts and PerfectServe before joining PeraHealth.
