CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Lancer Group places Jerry Needel as President and General Manager of everydayhero, a Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB; LTM Rev: $684M) company andinnovative crowd fundraising solution. Blackbaud is the world’s leading cloud softwarecompany powering social good.

In this new role, Jerry will be primarily responsible for growing the everydayhero brand in the United States while accelerating adoption globally.

Most recently, Jerry served as SVP of Revenue & Corporate Partnerships at Indiegogo, an international crowdfunding website, where he led the firm’s corporate partnerships, globalsales, and marketing efforts. He previously served as SVP and General Manager for Nielsen(NYSE: NLSN’ LMT Rev: $6.2B), global performance management company, where he established a social-media focused joint venture between Nielsen and McKinsey & Company where he held the role of COO.

He holds a B.A. degree in PR and Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
