SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – The Lancer Group places Nitin Ahuja as Head of Transformation of QBE insurance (ASX: QBE; LTM Rev: $17.4B AUD), one of theworld’s top 20 insurance and reinsurance companies with operations in 43countries. QBE is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and is headquartered in Sydney.
Nitin brings to QBE over 15 years of international experience leading complex transformation and global delivery across the financial services, telco, government, and aviation sectors. In this new role, Nitin will be responsible for strengthening the application of business process, improvement and transformation across QBE ANZO to ensure the effective delivery of multiple, complex, and simultaneous programs of work.
Most recently, Nitin served as Head of Business Delivery of Optus, provider of telecommunications services for individuals and businesses in Australia, where he created a single delivery organization accountable for business planning, change management, business readiness, governance & delivery for the consumer division. Nitin joined Optus in 2011 and held numerous senior roles including Director of Delivery, where he was responsible for leading the delivery of all tactical and strategic market-impacting initiatives for the consumer, wholesales & satellite, and networks business units.
He holds a Master of Business Systems from Monash University.
